AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

If one is not free of dirt like laziness, fear, desires (for sufficient money for a comfortable life, tasty foods, sex, affection & recognition of other persons, etc.), ego, irritations, anger, etc.; it is said that one shouldn’t invoke/pray to the Divine for help, as Divine’s force may have bad effect in the presence of the dirts. Is it really true? πŸ™„[…]

Who else to Call if not Divine Mother? Is it possible that She sends only that much Light & Force, which can be borne by me with my goods & bads within me at present? Will repeating ‘Maa’ or ‘Om Anandamayi Chaitanyamayi Satyamayi Parame’ Mantra only (with whatever poor way I Aspire, Reject & Surrender) clean all of my dirt and make me fit for Sadhana and experience the Presence & Love of the Divine Mother?

But who has said that? It is completely wrong and very far from the truth. One needs the Divine purity when one is dirty, and the Divine Love so that one can change. One is free of dirt only when one is identified with the Divine. But then there is obviously no need for anything. Until then, one puts in one’s efforts but also and mainly relies upon the Divine Mother’s Grace.Β

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I am drawn to the Mother’s Teachings, and for the past couple of years spent quite some time reading and taking notes on a variety of subjects. I now feel that I have read enough and it is time for me to start living them. I am doing that, slowly and steadily, notably in work and in parenting. Also, with regards to my health, I am making efforts to regularly exercise, eat a good diet, etc. The Mother herself said this: “It is best to live a Divine teaching”. πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ»πŸŒΈπŸŒ[…]

I heard in your recent talk that for a long time of 12 years, the Sadhana moves with ups and downs, but after 12 years, the Sadhana becomes smooth and blissful. Kindly add some more words to it, dear Alok da, as it gives me a sense of Reassurance. πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ»πŸͺ·β€οΈβ€πŸ”₯

I said that it is mentioned in spiritual literature that it takes almost 12 years for the basic purification to take place before one is ready to take off properly. It may take long or short depending upon the sincerity. Also one may …

I believed earlier that all of the manifested Universe is a part of the Apara Prakriti. But the Mother says that nature is infra-rational? But then I wonder whether reason is an instrument of Para Prakriti? Isn’t it too imperfect? What is the joining link of Nature with the Mother? πŸŒŒπŸ€”β€οΈβ€πŸ”₯πŸͺ·

Para and Apara Prakriti are simply two different modes of working of One Consciousness-Force. In its origin it is the Conscious Power of the Divine, also called as the Shakti of the Ishwara. The knowledge in the Shakti or …
