AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

I’m developing an interest in reading booksđź“– from various genres and authors around the world, while also continuing to read Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. I’d like to read the Bhagavad Gita as well. Is it right to read all of these alongside my reading of Sri Aurobindo?

Why not? It helps to make the mind wide and supple. Only thing one should be careful about is how deeply one is getting influenced by these readings, especially if the central thought contradicts the core ideas of Sri Aurobindo’s vision.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Beautiful journey through the higher vital worlds under the psychic influence as the pure water and the smooth flow indicates.

When one prays to Hindu gods like Shiva, Vishnu, Ganesh, Gauri, Krishna, Hanuman, Durga, Tripurasundari or Kali etc., one is invoking the divine forces operating in lower – earth nature. I read somewhere that the the Para Prakriti is beyond human understanding and hence our sages have found her various nurturing aspects at work in Earth Nature, to whom we can approach for help and guidance🙏.

The gods and goddesses are cosmic powers and hence they are neither confined to India nor belong to the Hindus. They had other names in other civilisations and though forgotten, they continue to act guided by the ….
