The problem of a hyper-connected world is an increasing restlessness and increased demand on time with little time left to ‘stand and stare’. A quick access to information has stunted the ability to wonder and seek and reflect upon the real issues of life. The mind and senses are flooded with all kinds of information that are not easy to process and sift. The result is an exposure, often premature to things that are harmful. We are likely to be misled more easily due to all this and thereby impact the karma in more ways than one.
There are of course many positive things also opening doors to new possibilities. Basically the whole mental evolution has gone into a hypermode with both good and evil getting multiplied. The good is becoming better and the evil worse. If we look at it dispassionately, our hidden tendencies are coming to the surface, – either to be rejected once for all, or to lead man into a rapid downward spiral. It is evolution fast forward that we are witnessing with the possibility of a new creation with its own unique dharma or law of being. The essence of dharma will not change but the outer forms and moulds are bound to change and evolve. Humanity will need to adapt to the changed conditions of living. It is a new yuga dharma that mankind has to discover and follow. The old methods won’t work anymore.
Affectionately,
