AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Is everyone the son of God or there are mixed human beings-some sons of God and many sons of Asuras? Because in this world most of the human beings are busy in thinking about themselves. No concern about something other than themselves and their loved ones. That’s why many a times i think how such people can be sons of God😏?

In their deepest core everyone without exception is the child of God. This child of God present in everyone is the soul within which is a portion of the Divine. The mixture is in the outer nature and this too is in everyone and remains so long as we do not turn within and seek our soul. When people live on the surface spending their life in selfish pursuits, which is the case with most, then they are more like an Asura. Sometimes they become a full blown Asura when this egoistic selfishness becomes extreme with a will to dominate others and possess and use everything for their own selfish purposes. It is this extreme ambition that is the hallmark of the Asura.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

The talk sounded like you were putting down Marriage as a concept! True, some regions do this horse ride/wasting money, which is in bad taste. However, Marriage as a concept gives the monkey minds a framework. 🥸💍💒[…]

Yes, I agree that for the average human being, these outer frameworks and social institutions do serve a purpose of holding people together. Of course, as I mentioned, marriage or not, love and togetherness can be beautiful and ought to be so. But for that, man needs to evolve beyond the present frameworks, which operate as long as one accepts the limits of dos and don’ts. …
