According to mystic experience the One Divine has created seven planes or seven main worlds for His Self Manifestation. These can be broadly arranged hierarchically into three higher worlds (parardha, or the higher hemisphere) where each world represents one of the three main aspects of the Divine Sacchidananda. These are Satloka (pure Existence), Chidghana (pure Consciousness) and Chittapas (pure Force) and Anandaloka (pure Bliss). These are infinite and eternal, not subject to limitation and disintegration. Out of these three higher worlds emerged three limited or lower or lesser worlds (aparardha) of which we are presently somewhat conscious. These lower worlds are limited and hence subject to disintegration and death. These are sthool or jada jagat (material or physical), prana jagat (world of life energy), mana (mental worlds), sookshma jagat or subtle worlds. The substance of each world responds to corresponding forces readily. Each world has their beings, energies etc, devas and daityas. Linking these two (higher and lower) is the Supramental which belongs to the higher and converts the lower in terms of the higher. The Overmind which is the junction of the two hemispheres, on the other hand converts the higher in terms of the lower. It is this difference of action between these two, Supermind and Overmind, Vidya and Avidya that is the fulcrum around which creation runs and evolves. Whatever is below the Overmind hasĀ Avidya or division, and whatever belongs to the Supermind and above has Vidya or oneness as its basis.
Affectionately,
