AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Reading Sri Aurobindo some times brings me a grim mood cos I begin to feel the immense labour of evolution in my heart, how much did it take for life to even emerge out of inconscient matter and even his historical writings in so far as what it takes to be a free independent nation and the test of world history that we and many other nations had to face. I think Sri Aurobindo in the Ilion depicts a bit of the tragic nature of existence but he also says in an aphorism that poets sometimes make too much of the tragedies of life. How to tackle these mood swings of immense energy and jest and the tragic melancholic contemplation admist this battle of life😥?

Affectionately,

Alok Da
