It is a natural creation of his desire self. But as you can see this sentimental attachment was feeding him with pleasure but it is not love. True love thinks about the loved one. It is better to come out of it. This temporary pain is the price to be paid to avoid a chronic long term suffering. Stay detached and pray for him and yourself for inner peace to return. Engage yourself with lot of work. Stay busy. Do lot of physical workout and if you feel moved at his tears, then pray for him for the Divine to give him peace and light.
