Existence is permanent though existences are not. Whatever is identified with the Divine Existence shares the Permanence of the Divine.
Consciousness is permanent but the forms it builds and inhabits are not. Whatever is identified and becomes one with the Divine Consciousness becomes permanent.
Delight is permanent but pleasure and pain, joy and grief, happiness and sorrow are not. When we are freed from these qualities then we share the permanence of the Peace and Delight of the Divine.
Love is permanent but the forms in which it casts itself are not.
The Soul is permanent unless it chooses to dissolve in the Divine. But the ego and surface personality are not.
However each transience carries within it something of the Permanent within it and therefore can become a means to arrive at Permanence as well as can share the Divine Purpose by joining with the Divine.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
