And again, at the time of work, I remember what all I forgot to discuss with the Divine when I was sitting for Meditation. What should I do? Or is this a common phenomenon?
Yes, it is a common phenomenon in the beginning. It is easier to remember the Divine when the surface mind is engaged in some mechanical outer activity. But the moment one sits down to meditate, then this very surface mind as well as the subconscient become restless and seek to be engaged. They keep pulling and tugging at the inner being with all kinds of mechanical thoughts and sensations. One way is to refuse to listen to its pulls and keep on with the inner concentration, ignoring all else. With time and practice, it becomes possible. The other way is to use a mantra or japa or some music going on so that the mechanical mind gets engaged and quietened, leaving the inner consciousness free to shift inside.
Affectionately,
