AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Why do people in this age doubt whether the Ramayana and Mahabharata actually happened😡?

The modern mind evolved under the pressure of Reason. That is why it lost the Intuitive sense of the earlier ages of mankind. But this is only a passing phase. The peak of Reason was towards the beginning of the previous century. Subsequently the war gave as its after effect cynicism and scepticism which ultimately ended up, like bhasmasura, destroying not only faith but Reason itself. Its gift democracy levelled out all sense of greatness reducing the individual to one of several equal units. This was needed so that a New Creation can be raised upon the ruins of the past.

Now the process of destruction is largely complete and the truths that were discarded are emerging again in a new way. The change has begun and portions of humanity are growing subtler in their intelligence and rediscovering Rama and Krishna within in a new way. That is the sign of new hope. For ultimately truth can never be destroyed, only its outer forms and formulas are removed like old worn out dresses and return in new and shining forms. That is what has already begun and when it is over, then we shall see the full of emergence.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

My niece who is 12 yrs old doesn’t like sharing😥. If she takes her favorite food to school and her friends ask her to share, she doesn’t give or gives a very small piece. If by chance she happens to share a chocolate with girls she doesn’t like, she wants to snatch it away. She is attached to Krishna, and only thing that pacifies her is when we tell her that Krishna likes if she shares what He has given her. She says “I know it’s bad, i know it’s a devil that says this, but I can’t overpower it. It tells me that those girls did bad and said bad things about you, instead of that you shared your things, now you go steal something from them. Or I keep thinking what will I get if I give them”..[conti]
