AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Why does the soul🌟 need to be born into a baby’s form, grow from fetus and then become and adult? Why can’t the soul just go from one adult body to another to continue Its Sadhana from the past life ?

The form is built by Nature, the soul is the Divine element that enters it as a guest enters its house. Generally this entry does not happen while the foetus is being formed. Usually it is a few years before the soul adopts the mind and body that are in a state of formation, attracted towards it by the light of an intuitive sense of the experience it needs. In most instances the first contact takes place around 7 or 10 years and if often marked by an upsurge of certain unusual feelings and thoughts, or even experiences that go into the background as one enters adolescence and the onrush of vital forces and mental questioning throws everything topsy turvy. But in those marked for a spiritual life the first contact is renewed as we sail past adolescence giving birth to a conscious aspiration. That’s when we can say that the soul has truly identified with the body just as the householder grows one with the house and makes it his ground or nest for further experiences. On the other hand, in some cases, perhaps many, it hardly links itself with the body though it does draw its share of experiences through it for growth. Such people who are perhaps the majority are often devoid of any true faith though they may subscribe to a fixed and formal religion and practice it, have no higher aspiration or idealism, and are content with material comforts and vital pleasures which they pursue as their goal just as a vulture pursues dying flesh.

As to transmission straight from the adult or old body to another without the process of death, it is very much possible and has been done. It requires a considerable degree of inner development but the question is which body will it transit to? A body not much in contact with the soul is like a haunted house and not worthy of being occupied by the celestial guest. And a body that is already being used by a soul for its growth cannot be just force occupied. What does however happen sometimes is that a developed being or a god occupies, seizes, posseses the soul and body of another developing soul and uses it for its purposes.

What will however happen one day is that through the confluence of a higher science and spiritual power a very developed soul will be able to create a living body for itself using the occult processes of Nature and her arrangement of elements. Then the soul can just leave one body consciously as a worn out robe and enter the consciously formed body without passing through death. This is one of the things in the offing.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

We recently brought a Shivling from my in-law’s place as they are not able to take proper care of it. My in-laws used to worship it with elaborate rituals. We have also been advised to follow it. To be honest, I don’t have much faith in their long rituals which were advised by our family priest. To me a simple ritual with faith & devotion is what is actually needed in worship🤨.

I understand your situation and have experienced this with other families as well. Ritual involves a,material and a spiritual aspect. The material side is to give bath (wash) the Shivalingam daily and keep it in a …

Dear Alok da I am a woman so it’s very easy to look at Divine as a lover… but how can a man relate to Divine like a lover ? Like when Sri Aurobindo writes the poem on Krishna I can relate feel Krishna in that form but what about a man? This was just silly curious question but thought to ask🙂.

This is something that i struggled with for a while as to how could I see the Beloved in the Mother or bring before Her all my different parts for the needed change and transformation. Soon I realised that it …

Last night, I had a dream where I saw that my father and I were getting a tubewell installed, and at the end, when we inserted the pipe, a lot of water came out and it was sparkling. Then, Grandpa came and asked why we had the tubewell installed, saying that the water is salty. When we drank it, the taste was a bit salty, so I said at least the water would be useful. Later, I saw that my brother and I were checking the car’s headlight, but it didn’t light up. So, I said, doesn’t the light work? What’s the problem? He said it’s fine, and when I turned it on, the light was very dim. Then, we removed the mirror from the headlight and saw that it was giving off very little light. What could be the symbolic meaning of this dream🤔?

I don’t think it has any deeper symbolic meaning. Looks more like a dip into the subconscient where the water is not tasty and the lights are dim. But it could also be…
