AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Why is it that some 50-year-olds, despite having experienced so much in life and claiming to be wise, still fail to grasp certain basic truths? When I ask them not to think negatively, they insist they’re not being negative, just realistic. They say, “This is how humans are. We have endless responsibilities. You younger ones won’t understand, our minds are always preoccupied.” I can’t help but wonder how, after all these years, they still haven’t learned the fundamentals.😡

Yes some people never really grow up and learn. Instead they take it that whatever they have been or learnt is the ultimate truth and they not need to learn anything more. It is a kind of mental laziness or a mental arrogance that refuses to progress after a point.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
