AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

You rightly speak about the necessity of women being given a fair chance and freedom in the modern world but in emphasizing this positive aspect don’t we also lose grip on reality and mask ourselves with glosses about the dark, chaotic, chthonic and subtle manipulative aspects of female nature😡. Young women of today have such cunning will to power by guilt tripping even boys with narratives parallel to Christian original sin about masculinity. Even the so called religious women are only religious in so far as it aggrandises them by saying how women are forms of the devi. many of them use both feminist narratives and also traditional narratives very conveniently as it suits them. I am asking this in the light of the recent suicide case that’s on news.

We have to see this not only cross sectionally but also longitudinally as they have developed and evolved over milleniums. Men being endowed with brute strength developed along certain lines whereby expression of emotions was seen as a sign of weakness. Women, on the other hand developed soft powers and did learn how to manipulate as this ensured that they too had their way. Now the clock has changed and there is this new found freedom, especially as defined by the western narratives. The result is what you describe. But this is because things are still in a flux as the balance is being reset. Besides Nature is striving for something new, a species that may well be beyond the masculine and the feminine, a healthy integration of the two. The solution lies there, in completing the further evolution of both men and women towards a new spiritual type.

Basically crookedness etc are the result of living in the analytical mind and a clear, clean consciousness is the gift of the heart. Here too we see now a shift as more and more women are living in the analytical mind and hence prone to the ills that men were largely prone to. A free mixing with men has led to their imbibing some of the evils to which extremely competitive men are prone to. On the other hand men are benefiting with this free interchange as they are developing the long suppressed emotional and intuitive side. Soon this process will reach its peak, perhaps already has, leading to the emergence of a new type that would escape a strict compartment of man and woman which will be Nature’s offered solution. Relationship will also change from typical husband wife to a mutual friend. The only problem that will remain is reproduction and children but Nature will surely find a way for that as well by evolving two types of humanity, one with the traditional man-woman relation while the other evolving towards a gender neutral new spiritual type.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Hindus worship various gods and goddesses. Like Ganesha for success. Lakshmi for wealth. Durga for protection. Similarly, why is Shivalinga worshipped? As you mentioned yesterday, Shivalinga is a very powerful symbol of divine power working on earth. It is representative of the union of Shiva and Nature. So is Shivalinga worshiped to seek prosperity, nourishment, strength from Prakriti that is Parvati and wisdom, knowledge from Shiva🤔?

As to what one can ask is upto the one who is worshipping. As Sri Krishna says in the Gita that whatever god one worships and whatever boon one asks it ultimately reaches the Supreme Divine,…

I was ruminating on an issue and wanted your opinion. Sri Aurobindo said that Sri Ramakrishna was as much an Avatar as Christ, so his spiritual power or impact on world in numbers or quality must be similar if not equivalent to that of Christ. Sri Ramakrishna also reveals that Maa Sarada devi was the Avatar of Mahasaraswati, so she too must be equivalent in power and impact on the world to Sri Ramakrishna and therefore Christ. And Swami Vivekananda was a Rudra vibhuti who did Tapasya and realized the truth within, so his spiritual power and impact must be greater than Muhammad or even Shivaji or Augustus. And I don’t even need to mention Sri Aurobindo and the Mother themselves as the Supreme Avatars. And there were countless enlightened sages unleashed into India in the last century like the Heavens had broke loose😐.

First about the facts. Sri Aurobindo did not speak of Sri Ramkrishna as an Avatar in the sense of the Gita. In fact Sri Ramakrishna himself spoke something similar when he spoke about it. But both Sri Aurobindo and Sri ….
