AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

What are some ways in which senses can be taken inwards in this mad rush 😱 of the modern world, while doing full time job and looking after family as well?

By practicing stepping back before rushing to act and react. Using the discerning mind to see how many responses and reactions were not really needed and see how relatively unimportant are the things to which we give so much importance.

To practise being a witness while the body and a part of the mind is engaged in the activities. One can also practise inner concentration in the heart centre on Her Presence while engaged in everything. With practise this becomes possible.

By calling and remembering the Mother as often as possible.

To offer the action before starting and after completing it in a moment of inwardness and remembrance.

By snatching and stealing whatever moments life permits amidst the busy schedule to remember Her.

By praying before starting the day and later while slipping into sleep.
