Talking to the photos should be followed by listening to the Mother as a little feeling in the heart. Real seeing of the Mother is inside the heart, where our soul and God reside as in their home. But we cannot see or hear them there because we are always restless. When our mind becomes quiet, then we can feel The Mother in the heart and hear what She wants to tell us. But since it is difficult to do so therefore we can speak to Her through the photograph. The photograph is a medium through which we can convey what we wish to convey to The Mother. It could be a wish or a prayer, or simply a feeling directed towards the Mother. Because whatever you say while looking at Her reaches God directly. That is the magic. The photograph is a medium and a channel for our prayers to reach The Divine Mother. They are not meant for us to hold a conversation with Her but just to tell Her, to communicate what we wish to communicate to God. It could be something about our physical health, something that is worrying us, something from which we are afraid, something we are feeling, something we need or want or even something that we see in the world around and want to bring it to God’s notice. Though God knows everything but we can always draw His attention to something from our point of view, especially when there is an emergency. Now the photographs can do all that. They can carry our message swiftly to God and bring a quick or even an ultra-quick response, such as a needed help, a protection, a cure, relief from some problem, or a number of things.
It is such a wonderful thing to have Her photograph and to live constantly under the watchful eyes of the Divine Mother Herself. What a relief, what a blessing, what a joy it is to have Her photographs near and be surrounded by God’s Presence. What a tremendous safety and security it is.
By conveying to Her all our needs and hopes and prayers, we begin to develop trust and confidence in the Mother who is always in our heart. We form a bond with Her until a time comes when we become fully conscious of Her in our hearts. Then we are always with Her, and She is in us, surrounding us, protecting us, guiding us. Then life becomes beautiful and happy. And all this because we started speaking to Her through the photograph. Isn’t it something marvellous? Photographs are meant for that, to open channels of communication with God, to develop faith in Him, to become conscious of God’s Presence in our lives, to receive God’s blessings. They are not meant for talking to Her as we talk to a neighbour or an uncle and aunty. Tell Her all your plans and problems so that She can take care of them and help you in whatever way needed.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
