I was asking the mother to help me be conscious of my life purpose, after which, I feel more and more identified with Earth as a being, and so recently, there is an inner need in me to pray for the manifestation of divine will on Earth. I even feel like praying and offering certain natures of certain people I know to the mother for the best for them to happen. Is this okay? To pray to the mother for others, to pray or aspire for increasing the intensity of Earth’s aspiration? Somewhere mother has said that it is better if the person needing change prays on their own instead of someone else praying for them or am I misunderstanding something here? Thank you🙂

To pray for all, even for the wicked and the wretch, is indeed the highest of prayers. Such universal prayers are described in the Bhagawat and the Upanishads. The Mother’s Prayers and the boons that Savitri seeks for Earth and men as revealed by Sri Aurobindo are a living testimony of such prayers and their great value for the Divine. It shows a wideness of inner consciousness and an aspiration for the Divine Manifestation upon earth which is directly in line with the Mother’s Yoga. It is indeed a beautiful Grace to have such a rarest of rare aspiration.

Quite a few people have this difficulty especially when one wants to convey things that are deep. I would suggest three things that will help you. 1. Read books that express profound truths with clarity and power, especially poetry. 2. Listen to eloquent and meaningful speakers.

I’m a very introverted person 😳and rarely share my feelings with others. Only one or two people truly know me well. I don’t even share anything with my parents, I often hold back because I fear the someone might copy my thoughts, ideas, or actions without giving me any credit. I also hesitate to invite people into my home, partly because I worry they might judge it, and partly because I’m afraid they’ll take ideas from my décor. I see my ideas as unique, and the thought of someone imitating them makes me uneasy. Please help me understand this better—are these two separate issues, or are they connected?
