AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

When The Mother 😇says, you think I am this one body, all are one divine body..or something like that please correct me if I am wrong.. but what does she mean?

The first statement is that we think that She is  this body (identifying Her only with the body alone) is erroneous, refers to the fact that She is not just limited to the body. Her body is no doubt special in terms of being built with a special purpose and due to the intense supramental Yoga, it has been a special condensation, a concentration of forces. But Her consciousness is not limited to Her one body and Her action is universal.

The second statement is that the idea of seeing bodies as if separate bodies is also erroneous since there is but One Body. It refers to the universality of Matter (in fact of each plane). It is the ego that makes us feel this is my body, my mind, my thoughts, my feelings but in fact, all is a universal movement of Nature. Each wave of the sea is connected to every other wave and the whole sea. But the mind habitually cuts off a small portion and calls it mine. It implies that whatever is done in one body (Her body) will automatically spread as a contagion to other bodies. All earthly bodies are, in this widest sense parts of One Body interacting with and affecting each other.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
