AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

How can I organize my thoughts better? I tend to overthink a lot about life, money and work? For example, if I need to give a presentation that can be prepared in 2 hours, I end up worrying about it for 2 days๐Ÿ˜“.

Learn to quieten the mind through the practice of witnessing and work, not for specific results, but for the joy of it, as a means to develop and progress.

I also find myself getting irritated with my loved one over small things. I’m married and struggle to manage multiple responsibilitiesโ€”my job, my studies (I’m taking classes), and household chores, even though it’s just the two of us at home.

It is because we are not really living our true life but drifting aimlessly according to the pressure and impulsions of the society and others. Discover your own aim and focus mainly on that. The rest will fall into place with time.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

One should not precipitate things. Faith and surrender to the Divine Grace are the best inner state. Patience and learning to wait with a quiet aspiration growing steadily within are a wonderful help in reorganizing the circumstances. Thus one should keep growing in one’s aspiration until it becomes imperative to come and one …
