AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Sri Aurobindo writes in” The Mother”, “But there are many planes of her creation, many steps of the Divine Shakti. At the summit of this manifestation of which we are a part there are worlds of infinite existence, consciousness, force and bliss over which the Mother stands as the unveiled eternal Power. …๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒ„[…]

“…All beings there live and move in an ineffable completeness and unalterable oneness, because she carries them safe in her arms for ever. Nearer to us are the worlds of a perfect supramental creation in which the Mother is the supramental Mahashakti, a Power of divine omniscient Will and omnipotent Knowledge always apparent in its unfailing works and spontaneously perfect in every process. There all movements are the steps of the Truth; there all beings are souls and powers and bodies of the divine Light; there all experiences are seas and floods and waves of an intense and absolute Ananda”

Are the summit of this Manifestation, and the world of Supramental Creation, – are they different? Are there Divine Beings at the summit of Creation with form and name? Can you mention some Divine Beings who belong to the highest summit of Creation and some who belong to the Supramental World? Can you tell me the Hindu Scriptural names for these planes?

There are, 7 planes of the Divine Manifestation. There are three higher worlds (parardha) which are planes proper to Sacchidananda, namely Satloka (world of infinite Existence), Chidghana loka plus Tapoloka (infinite Consciousness and Force), Anandaloka (infinite Bliss). It is these three that are being referred to as the summit.ย

Similarly, there are three lower worlds (aparardha): bhuloka (physical), antariksha or bhuvar or mid worlds (vital), swarloka (mind).

Joining them but belonging to the higher three is the Maharloka or the Supramental. It is nearer to us as it is the link between the highest Mind, the plane of the gods and the Sacchidananda.

Yes, there are beings, but they don’t have a fixed form and name. Fixity of form and name belongs to the lower worlds.ย

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I have been taking antipsychotics for the last 15.5 years (olanzapine 15 mg every night). The issue is – I feel a bad mood and irritation for 4-6 hours after getting up from sleep every day. Is it happening because of my psychosis condition, dear Alok da? ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐Ÿ˜ซ๐Ÿ˜ฅ๐Ÿฆ‹โœจ

Yes, it is due to an instability in nature. Psychosis itself is the result of this instability that arises because the consciousness has got centered around the little ego and perceives everything from that point of view.ย Learn to step back and do not accept every thought and suggestion or flow with every feeling as if it is true.

Reading all the writings, all the answers to my seekings, there remains a gap, a feeling of being unanswered.ย My inner call says that I can’t know anything fully while staying in the same dimension; there is a higher level or dimension than my present one, or maybe many of them, and only when I reach there, my quest will end. ๐Ÿค”๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒ„โœจ

Yes, of course, reading and writing prepare the ground, they are not a replacement or substitute for direct experience which comes through the meeting of Aspiration and the Grace.ย

Jai Maa. Today I was reading the Two Natures chapter from Essays on the Gita and there Sri Aurobindo explains that the desire in consonance with dharma does not lead to any bondage, while there he also mentions that desire born of Rajogun leads to bondage and misery. ๐Ÿ“–โœ’๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐ŸŒป[…]

He has already answered this as you have correctly indicated, through the svabhava. Svabhava is the Divine Impulsion in creation that generates karma. It is the swabhava of the…
