AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I follow your talks, which are really helping me to understand Mother. My Question is: when we are devoted to parents or in their service, then while doing that – how can we become a proper instrument and offer our services to the Divine / God? πŸ‘¨πŸΌβ€πŸ¦°πŸ‘¨πŸΌβ€πŸ¦³

Being devoted to parents and children or family does take away quite a bit of time and energy. But as long as one does not become exclusively devoted to them, one can always find time for the service of the Divine. After all, one does find time for other things, such as office work or watching a program, going out or talking to friends, or going to the doctor for medical reasons. It is a question of prioritizing the various aspects of life as well as striking a balance.Β

Even if this is not possible and one cannot find time at all, still one can inwardly remember and offer all that one is engaged in doing to God within.

In any case, nothing should become so absorbing and exclusive that one misses the very purpose of life, the goal of our human birth, – the Divine. At least keep calling the Divine inwardly, even if you can do nothing else for the moment.Β

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Last Night I had a Dream/Vision. I saw a dock, I think it was somewhere in Europe. and it looked old, centuries old. Someone threw me overboard, and I died. I can still see the whole thing! Then I saw sometime before that, also, I had died by drowning. And in this life, I cannot swim! But what I saw, was it a Past Life or just a Dream? πŸŠπŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸŒŠπŸ˜°πŸ¦‹

In all likelihood, it is an experience of your past life that is still unresolved fully. Offer the dream in all its details to the Divine Mother so that its impact is wiped off completely from your soul.
