The choice of yoga is not made according to the difficulties one might encounter but according to the aspiration or the goal that one seeks. Difficulties are always there in life, even in ordinary life. They are there in every yoga worth its name. One has to face them with courage and perseverance, above all faith in the Divine Grace.
However in your case they are not so much difficulties as they are tendencies natural to your age. You can’t uproot them violently. One has first practice sanyama, regulation of the desires by the mind, buddhi. Then as they become weak with time it will become easier to deal with them.
Meanwhile develop yourself in the directions that your nature indicates, progress through work by the practice of equanimity and Nishkama karma. Call the Mother’s Name, sit quietly every day thinking of the Mother, read Their books. As a first thing try to establish peace within you rather than fighting with the difficulties.
Affectionately,
