Love is love and if you deepen the feeling and purify it of attachments and expectations then you will find it taking you closer to Her. Attachment is not opposite of love, it is a mixture and an impurity due to the ego which makes us feel this is mine. Love is simply content to love without the need to appropriate or expectation of reciprocation.
