You said that destruction was completely avoidable if those involved in the Ramayana and the Mahabharata responded to the Divine Will but it is also said that Divinity of an Avatar will be fully manifested when there is great darkness or adversity at the other side. Without Ravana how the Divinity of Rama would have been fully manifested and also without Kansa or Duryodhana how the Divinity of Krishna would have been fully manifested? There is also the story of Jai – Vijay so is it the leela of the Divine for his complete manifestation or the distortion in creation🤔?

Yes this is the other complimentary truth that the greater the darkness, individually as well as collectively, the greater the possibility of Light. India is a classic example of a civilisation plunged into darkness for nearly 500 years hence it is destined to rise in an unprecedented way. 

However it is the present arrangement of Nature. But if the souls of men could respond as the gopas and gopis of Vrindavan then the Mahabharata could be avoided and the darkness can be transformed into Light almost magically.
