If one opens to the Mother with complete trust and dependence, then all else is taken care of since She will release your deepest and highest truth and carry you towards the goal of transformation.
From your side what helps the process further is aspiration for the Divine Life. Liberation will come because liberation from Ignorance is a needed step towards transformation. The mistake is to take this stage as a final goal.
