Hedonistic types have always been present in Auroville since its early years. In fact, now, due to a strict administration, they are being sent out or sent away, and there is a great pressure upon them to stop these activities. There is nothing to be shocked by any of these things since Auroville is an experimental township where all the world’s problems are taken into to find their true and higher solutions. To leave a section of humanity outside the ambit and influence of the Mother and Sri Aurobindo is to leave that problem unsolved forever, apart from temporary measures. But the Ashram and Auroville are not there for half way measures but for radical solutions for every type of humanity.
