AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Could you explain a little about what kind of inner instability would lead to such visions? Does it reflect badly of the person who experiences such things? I ask, because I always hear of so many people getting certain “experiences” when they’re in Pondicherry. Especially on the first visits. And they’re usually considered as good omen. Sort of like initiations.😇👀🌊

These kind of experiences generally arise due to the vital nature’s need or taste for sensational things. The ground becomes favourable if this need is combined with a certain vanity that takes pride in being special. Experiences are not necessarily a sign of initiation or readiness for the Path. The sign of initiation is the Call for the Path and / or an intuitive revelation of the Divine Mother as being who she is.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
