AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Sir, I feel as though no one values me. They seem to value others more than they value me β€” whether it be my parents or my brother. Sir, please help me; I am deeply distressed. 😟πŸ₯€πŸŒ·πŸŒ„[…]

Furthermore, I constantly feel sad and low; even though everything is objectively fine, I am plagued by a sense of fear and a persistent gloom that just won’t lift. I find no joy in anything I do. Sir, what should I do? Please, help me find a way out of this situation.

As long as we depend upon the approval of others for our happiness, our life remains miserable. It is not a change of outer circumstances that helps, but an inner change within us. Otherwise, our nature will become miserable in the new outer circumstances as well. When we change within then outer circumstances too begin to change. In fact, if we change within, we may not even need to change the outer circumstances.Β

My prayers are with you. May the Divine Mother help you. 🌷

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Lets take what he writes in the first chapter of The Mother. It is a letter written to a disciple. Here he is giving us a complete overview of the working of the Divine Grace in response to the human aspiration. What he emphasises…

There is this Theme of Fate and Destiny that Sri Aurobindo explores throughout his Writings and Poetry, and he has this Aphorism: “God’s laughter is sometimes very coarse and unfit for polite ears; He is not satisfied with being MoliΓ¨re, He must needs also be Aristophanes and Rabelais”. πŸ—ΊοΈπŸŒ„πŸ¦šπŸ˜…πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ·[…]

Fate is a complex play of forces, both individual and collective. Regional and national or what we may say collective destinies are far more complex than individual. They also follow long curves of Time. Imagine, for example what the Hindus must have gone through the centuries from 1500 till just about a century ago, facing …

Dear Alok da, “When you are conscious of the whole world at the same time, then you can become conscious of the Divine.” Every time I come across this New Year Message of the Mother, I am always puzzled. What does it mean ‘To be Conscious of the Whole World’ and how to become Conscious of the whole World at the same time? 🌍😯🌷🌼

By whole world is not meant all the details of the outer events happening all the time though that too can be known.Β

Becoming conscious of the whole world means to enter into the universal consciousness in which it is possible to know all that needs to be known simply by an act of concentration in that direction. This state is called as the….
