AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

How does the concept of “Morphic Resonance” in Sri Aurobindo’s Integral Yoga explain the idea that an individual’s inner work on their unique difficulties creates a “contagion” of Divine Possibility that aids others in similar states, and why is this Collective Transformation essential for the Yoga? ๐Ÿ‘ฅ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒปโœจ

I have a couple of queries – one on your recent talk on Sri Aurobindoโ€™s Yoga & Sanatana Dharma (TE 686), and another on Meditation.ย And each one who works on his unique possibility and difficulty, in turn, helps everyone else who corresponds to that state or that element in Nature. Specifically, are we saying that when we work on our possibilities and difficulties, we act as โ€˜mirrors/lessonsโ€™ to others who are in the same state and help them understand the full Divine Possibility of that state? And why is this important?ย

Referring to the above question: Question on the Recent Talk (TE 686), towards the end, you refer to Integral Yoga as being a Collective Yoga where: Each nature undergoing Transformation has a corresponding ripple effect on corresponding natures since each of us is connected to each other.ย It is about each individual taking up the burden of others as his Consciousness expands.ย Each one is supposed to embody some Divine possibility which is unique, and corresponding to that, there is a difficulty.ย

Mirroring is one aspect of it. That is something that takes place anyways in life. But more appropriate will be the study on morphic fields (body fields) and morphogenetic resonance. Due to the internal subtle connecting links, and a collective memory, the events that take place in one has a tendency to spread fast into others. It is like a contagion. So each person who conquers or discovers something facilitates it in several others by a kind of horizontal transmission.ย

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Alok da, mumma scolds me a lot. Yesterday, she scolded me because I was being a victim, today, when she was sleeping, I bounced a ball without realising, she told ” I never get to sleep” being a victim herself, how can I handle this? ๐Ÿคพ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐ŸŒธ

We don’t need to handle everything. Most things go away if we don’t give them much importance. Besides things become better if we try to put them in perspective and understand them. For example, mumma may scold because she might be tired. Or she may scold because she wants to see you strong and independent. Why …

I have a question regarding a chaupai (verse) from Tulsidas’s Ramayana. A gentleman familiar with the Sri Aurobindo Sadhanalayaโ€”located right next to the Ayodhya Ram Mandirโ€”had released a video. I no longer have the video, but I remember what he said. ๐Ÿน๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒ„[…]
