Sometimes I’ve seen that we connect to some people in an instant, we need no proof of their goodwill, we just understand them. In such situations, is there any pre-life bind that leads to it? Do Pre-Life bonds stay similar in other lives? As told by my grandmother, the people of one family reincarnate in the same family in different forms, so do friends and extended family also live around us in different forms?
Lastly, if Karma is a real concept, and as said, ‘Karam likha Bhagwan bhi nahi mita sakta’, then how do we apologise for our wrong karmas? I understand that the holy bath at Kumbh and other religious practices are more of an awareness generation model, those just make people Conscious about their deeds, but how do we actually apologise to Mother Shakti and the universe?
It would be counter-evolutionary if we keep reincarnating in the same family and similar circumstances with the same people and friends around us. Rebirth is not a static, repetitive, mechanical process of karma but an evolutionary mechanism for the soul to grow and unfold its divine possibilities. Similarly, God is not just a static witness who helplessly watches the world He has made, as they say. If such be the case, then there would be no hope and prayer, aspiration, faith, would all be a superfluous absurdity. So these are clearly grandma’s tale. Frankly, there would be hardly any hope for anyone given the state of ignorance in which humanity dwells.
It is true that the universe and ourselves are constantly moulded and remade based on our choices (karma), but our choices themselves are influenced by a host of cosmic forces impacting our lives, of which we slowly grow conscious and begin to master. And behind this complex play of forces, there is the guiding principle of the Divine Wisdom and Force, the saving hands of Divine Grace, the cushioning and uplifting power of Divine Love. That is why everything evolves despite ourselves.Β

As to people drawn to each other, it is generally due to affinities of different kinds, – physical, vital, mental, psychic and spiritual. It is only those linked through psychic and spiritual affinity that draw together in other lives and different births. Rest is washed away or left behind after the needed experience is over.
