AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Should one continue to obtain fresh Blessing Flowers from the Ashram and immerse the old ones, or does the Mother’s power remain eternally present within all the old Blessing Flowers?๐Ÿชท๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŒ

Please provide your guidance. In a home or place where numerous Blessing Flowers of Sri Ma and Sri Aurobindo are kept, is it still possible for opposing or negative forces to reside there in any form? Does the protective shield of Sri Ma and Sri Aurobindo remain within these Blessing Flowers for an indefinite period, or only for a limited number of years?

Negative or hostile forces can be anywhere. They were there near The Mother to try and hurt Her. They came and fractured Sri Aurobindo’s leg in a moment when he was totally preoccupied with protecting The Mother when She was fully engaged in the occult dimension of the Second World War. They were there all around Sri Krishna chasing him even before his birth. They were there in Ksheersagar and in Kailash, even entered Brahmloka, harrased greatest of Rishis in the Ashrams of old. In fact Sri Aurobindo went on to say that to call and convert the Asuras was part of his work.ย

There is nothing which lasts forever on the material plane. But we can activate the latent power by our faith and even turn it into an invincible armour by keeping a steady faith in the Divine by whose Grace we received something.ย

One should surely come to the Ashram, not just to renew the blessings but to recharge the aspiration and increase the opening.

Finally it is faith that works the miracle. If there is faith then even a blade of grass can become a brahmastra, a bit of mud from the Ashram carry a special power. It is faith that is most important as it can awaken the Divine Power latent in everything.

Affectionately

Dada, Thank you for giving your knowledge so generously, after being around Mother’s and Sri Aurobindo’s wisdom I feel guilty to ask and though I try to filter a lot of questions before asking but this one has been bothering for more than 2 years now. Dada I feel a sense of intense restlessness, while externally all seems fine, I don’t know when was the last time I really laughed. Its like I am definitely not doing what I am supposed to do while working, eating all times. Dada, I am nervous and restless but I dont know why am I feeling this way before I even get to the solution part. I cannot question my job and people around when its inside, how do I get rid of it. Dada I am so clueless that I even started started digging details of my birth chart, which I never really believed in. Please help/ dial your hotline to mother as to whats wrong with me ๐Ÿ”๐ŸŒ€๐Ÿ‘ฃ

There is no need to hesitate in asking questions. I only share a little of what the Divine Mother gives limitlessly. As I see it, your problem stems from hypersensitivity of the nervous system. It is a stage in human evolution and goes away as we progress further towards an impersonality. Certain exercises through guided Imagery on …

Many people say that people in India do not follow their traditions as strictly as they once did, and that there is growing resistance, especially among the younger generation, toward maintaining cultural practices. They often compare this with countries like China and Japan, where people are perceived to follow their cultural traditions more rigorously and preserve them with strong social discipline. According to this view, todayโ€™s generation is more distant from traditional customs than previous generations. Interestingly, this concern is most often expressed by people in their 30s and 40s ๐Ÿชท๐Ÿ•‰๏ธ๐Ÿ“œ

I am not sure about China and Japan of today. There is a general decline in culture everywhere and it is not without its purpose. The causes may be different, foremost of all being a pervading Western view of life and the instant gratification it brings. An insatiable vital hunger has been awakened, hunger for food, dress, pleasure of …

I saw a quote from Paramahansa Yogananda ji, where he said that God yearns for our love because that is the only thing that is not readily available for him. While I respect his words, I feel a bit confused because I have also heard that the Divine wants nothing (Bhagavad Gita). What is the truth behind this?๐Ÿน๐ŸŽ๐Ÿš

It is a little human way of putting it but there is a profound truth in it that has been corroborated by all the bhaktas. Sri Aurobindo himself has described this in quite a detail in chapters on the Mystery of Divine Love in the Synthesis of Yoga….
