As far as possibility is concerned, well everything is possible. But it would be rarest of rare instances as it doesn’t serve any purpose. What happens generally, and which is usually mistaken for such transmigration is that the vital being or fragments of memory of the departed, at times the ‘ghost’ or elemental energies of the departed enter into another person which explains certain stories of memories of past life. But these are outer memories and not the psychic memories or the psychic being entering another body instantly. Besides, the psychic being needs to go to the psychic world to assimilate the experience of one life before it can take a meaningful plunge into the next step of its evolutionary journey. Transmigration is not a vital or mental phenomenon nor a mechanical process. Its purpose is the evolution of the soul through not just different bodies but different experiences in different circumstances as well as through different natures corresponding to the soul’s evolution.
