These two, – human progress and the transformation do not cancel each other. In fact they very much complement. Unless you mean by human progress simply earning money or getting a lucrative post. That is not progress but simply ambition. By human progress is meant development of faculties and capacities which can very well go with the yoga of transformation if you offer these capacities to the Divine Mother for her use or in Her service. In fact even money and position can be used for the Divine Service opening thereby the doors towards transformation.
