AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Dada, how can one achieve the state of Jivanmukt? Now I feel like I am captive by Nature. There is a strong tendency to be free from Ignorance. 🕊️

That is how everybody begins their journey, but through persistent aspiration and practice, one slowly comes out of this state. It is a long and difficult journey, and one has to endure with faith and persist and persevere. Victory comes to the most persevering.

The path for being a Jivanmukta is the way shown by the Gita. Read the Essays on the Gita and practise the teachings steadily, starting with nishkama karma, equanimity and Remembrance of the Divine Mother, offering all you do and are to Her. Have full trust in Her, persevere through every failure and fall. Slowly, you feel more and more in contact with the Divine Mother’s Presence within. One has to then keep referring everything to Her. Rest will grow. Keep your faith and endure the passage from bondage to inner freedom.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
