AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Book Savitri- canto five page 524-The Book of Yoga. Dear Alok Bhaiya, several concrete physical terms have been used from the first through the sixth line on Page 524. What exactly do these terms signify? Please explain the complete essence of all these lines to me.πŸŒ…πŸͺœπŸ“œπŸ•ŠοΈ

Here are the lines : An awful dimness wrapped the great rock-doorsΒ

Carved in the massive stone of Matter’s trance.

Two golden serpents round the lintel curled,

Enveloping it with wisdom’s deep luminous eyes.

An eagle covered it with wide conquering wings.

It is the image of entrance to the psychic doors. They are guarded by doors of subtle matter. The golden serpents is the kundalini power that has held it in wraps. Eagle with strong wings is the power of intuition that is active in this area.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

The dwarf triple bodied trinity are the three levels at which the present human mind operates. They are, in evolutionary sequence, the physical, vital and the mental mind or the mind proper.Β

The physical mind is heavily dependent upon the senses and the raw data they provide. It trusts only that which can be seen and measured. Then there is the vital mind that takes flights of imagination, thereby escaping from the ‘sensory reality’ in search of that which is hidden. It is the mind that fantasises, and in the process, might hit…

I have a very problem since childhood and still persist. I start something in a very enthusiastic after resolution but drops it in few weeks or months either because of priorities or lack of interest or insincerity. Its both in case of ordinary & spiritual life. For example I plan to paint or read spiritual books or do some certification etc. How to fix this problem?πŸŒ…πŸ†•πŸŒ±πŸ“…

This is because the vital is unsteady. Practice equanimity, apply reason to control the vital from jumping from one thing to another, above all, call Peace and Calm to fix this not so uncommon difficulty.
