AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Dada without any thoughts or efforts spontaneous a force descent from mind to lower abdomen part of my body and i feel a tremendous peace, stillness also feel thrill of my whole body. It seems the desire, ego and sexual instict are disappearing and when the force descent it also open the heart centre which gives ahetuki bhakti towards The Mother. Initially it had came a little moment then disappeared but now when it comes it stay with long time i feel it a couple of days. But when it goes i found myself a great difficulty situation, a lot of sexual desire, ambition comes in a larger way towards me. Why it is happened? Why the force can’t establish permanently of our being because if i try out myself to reject all these things i can’t reject but when the force descent it eliminate all these difficulties. What can i do so that the force can staying with me permanently

It is strange that with such experiences you should be full of gratitude and joy rather than of doubt and complaint. Perhaps it is this too much focus on yourself that is creating the difficulty and raising up the hidden resistances from within. Do not be impatient. Change of nature does not happen in a day. These higher forces take long to permanently establish themselves, years in fact. They are a gift of Grace and should be received with humility and gratitude rather than with the sense of rights and entitlements.

It is also important to do some work or service of the Divine as part of the sadhana, otherwise this intermittent disturbance and division prolongs itself much longer.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

The three modes of nature are never aligned. If and when aligned, the Asuras die and the Self is liberated. To do that …

The dwarf triple bodied trinity are the three levels at which the present human mind operates. They are, in evolutionary sequence, the physical, vital and the mental mind or the mind proper.Β

The physical mind is heavily dependent upon the senses and the raw data they provide. It trusts only that which can be seen and measured. Then there is the vital mind that takes flights of imagination, thereby escaping from the ‘sensory reality’ in search of that which is hidden. It is the mind that fantasises, and in the process, might hit…

I have a very problem since childhood and still persist. I start something in a very enthusiastic after resolution but drops it in few weeks or months either because of priorities or lack of interest or insincerity. This is because the vital is unsteady. Practice equanimity, apply reason to control the vital from jumping from one thing to another, above all, call Peace and Calm to fix this not so uncommon difficulty.
