AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I watched a movie named DHURANDHAR, because of many positive reviews from people amongst the followers of Sri Aurobindo. I felt a kind of trust in their words. My question is, can movie like this be seen through the lens of Spirituality? Please shed some light on it.

Every movie can be seen through the lens of an all-inclusive spiritual vision. Such a seeing understands the forces at work behind (as you mention). After all, the greatest of all epics, the Mahabharata, is about the dance of Kali destroying a civilisation that had deviated far from its true purpose, and the Gita does describe the grand vision of Sri Krishna in one of his terrible moods as Time the destroyer.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
