Sir, even after suffering if desires are still there and it’s tormenting and scaring about old age/loneliness etc. but as the sufferings have taught a lesson & have paid a huge price by losing what was given/gifted before; is it ideal to pray to the Divine mother to take away the desires? (as am not able to identify which human being is divine sent and which human is a disguise and anymore don’t want to disobey the Mother at any cost). Kindly advise .
All creation and every human being is a mask. In whatever form and way we have spontaneous faith, that form can become a means to open the Divine doors within us. But since most human beings are mixed, desires tend to creep in and create disturbances. Therefore the wise have always adviced to keep a bit of safe distance, not because people are bad or cannot be trusted but because too much closeness either makes us see certain real or unreal defects but also raises expectations often of an unrealistic nature. While it is not easy to eliminate desires, one can always exercise a certain Sattwic self-control and the law of moderation and balance which helps one prepare for their final exit.
Most importantly keep your faith intact as a priceless treasure. The Mother is all-gracious and all-loving, in fact She is the very Source and origin of Love. Have no fear and turn to Her more and more. It is indeed the one supreme safety in life.
