AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

The need to find fulfilment or satisfaction of one’s desires from one human being only opens the doors to further and further disappointment. However good and even faithful a human being may be, he or she cannot fulfil the deepest need within human beings. It is so because the thirst within us is of the infinite and by its nature, no finite object or person can fulfill it. That is why human love begins to pale after the initial rush and flush is over. πŸ’”β€οΈβ€πŸ©ΉπŸ₯€

Yet people continue despite the disappointment to keep up the social facade or else because the human emotions get diverted towards the child. No doubt if one can navigate through this difficult period then there can arise a deeper and stronger bond which is independent of any and every desire. Most marraiges however do not enter this domain because it requires the same core aspiration.Β The second thing is possible is to love without expectations, unconditionally so to say. This again is not so easy for the human being.Β

Therefore there are two main options before you. Either to accept the outer situations and the realistic human limits and instead of seeking the fulfilment of desires turn your desires towards the Divine Mother. Ask Her for whatever you desire but leave it to Her to grant or not. Best of course is to desire only the Divine and His Love and Grace. If you can do that then it is the best way to arrive at freedom from all disappointment and frustrations.

The second option is to love the person you love without any expectations whatsoever. It will slowly purify you from all desires and take you closer to the very source of Love.

The path is not easy either ways but unlike the seesaw life of desires,  it will eventually take you out of the zone of expectations, desires and suffering completely and leave you inwardly free.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I have desire and fear that covered up the small aspiration to love, and that is why I feel this has happened.
