AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Ever since returning home, it feels as though my time is simply being wasted. I find myself entangled in various matters and feel trapped. Although the remembrance of Mother persists deep within me, I am unable to serve her directly; consequently, it pains me to see how time is slipping away, and I have no idea how long I will remain entangled in all of this. Living this kind of life as a householder is becoming increasingly difficult. Dada, how will I be able to endure in this environment for the long term?🏠🛋️🛤️

Furthermore—aside from dedicating every task to Mother—is there anything else I can do that constitutes Mother’s direct work, even while living here?

That is why I had sent you to the Delhi Ashram but I understand the difficulty of the ties at home. Best would be for now to remember Her inwardly, dedicate all you do to Her, give yourself inwardly more and more to The Mother and as for the outer world, practice equanimity. When the time comes She will pull you out of everything and take you completely in the Divine Service.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
