AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I  have reached the 12th chapter of the Bhagavad Gita by Sri Aurobindo. I have one topic which I have not fully understood, this is making my further reading a bit slower. The roles/difference between Purusha and Prakriti . So what I have understood is Purusha is the male energy , Vishnu and Shiva (parabrahman) and Prakriti is the Female energy, shakti, force of creation and nature So how are nature and feminine energy related to each other? I understand it is force of creation because it is the feminine energy which can create a new offspring, is this the right interpretation (I don’t get it because even males play a role in creation)?🪈🐎☸️📜

Coming to Purusha, it is said purusha is the consciousness, how is that relevant, because they be both male and female both have the power of consciousness.

There are many other characteristics of purusha prakriti and their relationship also described, but I am not able to have a integral understanding on this subject, please guide me in my process of knowledge so my yoga is progressed with better clarity.

Purusha and Prakriti are two aspects of one Consciousness. Purusha is the static witness mode whereas Prakriti is the dynamic active mode. This is the basic truth that will apply at every level. It is One Consciousness that can take two poises, static and dynamic, passive and active

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I don’t know how to put it in word at some point I feel terrible about myself and at the same time not able to hold it anymore. Things have paradoxically changed. To be honest I have a complete different perception now which is difficult to explain to anyone also sometimes I feel is it a lot of my Ego speaking and thats why the conflicts?👑🦁🎭🪞

It is the struggle that most people of the new generation feel. The simplest way to deal with these things is to stay focused on your goal and not try to change people, however significant or close they may be in your life. To try changing others or to expect them to….

Namastey Alok Da, I was reading some predictions related to Pakistan and China by Mother and Sri Aurobindo on the website, Was the Mother referring to a future event that is yet to manifest, or was this vision specific to that time period and did not occur due to divine intervention or a change in the working of forces? Is there any future possibility where China might invade India?🪷🐘🌍🏮

She was referring to a possibility, a possibility that was strong at that moment as well remains a risk for the future. Sri Aurobindo also said that they are very restless and saw the threat of Red China invading India through Tibet. As long as the Communist party …

I have been living away from home for almost 9 years for my studies, and currently study in a foreign country. I usually don’t get much lonely and even if I, I get comfortable on remembering the Mother. But for sometime, I am getting too emotional on festivals such as today, which usually results in a fever and impacts my work. How should I deal with it?🏡📍🥺🧸☕

It is most likely the result of home-sickness arising out of loneliness. Certain circumstances and situations are typically associated in the mind with home or the place where one grew up. They remind us of the fact of being …
