AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

How can human evolution into the supramental race able to end the sufferings of this material world?

As the human mind changes from the mind of ignorance to the mind of light many problems which are due to lack of understanding and true knowledge will go away.

As the human heart changes from a state of division and disharmony with its consequences of hate and spite into a heart of sweetness and love, the problems that arise in social and other relationships will naturally drop off.

As the human life driven by desires, ambition and ego changes into a luminous and joyous movement of the Divine Will in us then the stress of suffering and evil will drop off and will be replaced by Peace and Joy and deep satisfaction.

As the human body begins to change into a substance that is not subject to disease and degeneration then the suffering due to illnesses and death will be solved.

The supramental force is essentially the Divine Force that acts with perfect knowledge and unfailing power. Right now the Divine Force has to act from behind the veil of human ego and ignorance which distort the Divine Action. It is so because the present human nature is not ready to support the direct workings of the Divine Force. The result is a distortion of the original Divine Will in us and its attendant consequences of evil, suffering, error and sin. The supramental transformation will prepare human nature and the human instruments for the direct reception and transmission of the Divine Force without diminution and distortion. It means the emergence of a new species, the supramental being who will lead a divine life in a divine body. The supramental being will be equipped with the divine knowledge and power to rectify and solve the problems created by the human mind.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I have recently started my residency in MS opthalmology. My schedule runs from 7am to 11pm with two 36 hours shifts each week. Throughout the day I am constantly surrounded by seniors and immersed in work and we are not allowed to leave the wards during working hours. I get no time for meditation or reading books of Maa and Sri Aurobindo or even some time to sit in silence.
