AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I have turned 23 and I see people around me running after recognition and money. I too tried it but it doesn’t make me happy, but I still do it thinking I am might make a mistake of not utilizing the resources she has given. How do I create a harmony between being close to The Mother and work without delving in the pleasure of comfort or inertia?

Earn the money and use it for Her Work. Receive what you get from the world but know that it all comes from the Divine and offer it in Her Service.

If life offers outer comforts take it as Her Love but be not attached to them. Be attached only to Her and find the inner and true comfort and rest in Her.

Live content whether in riches or rags, surrendered to Her, content because She is with you and with all who aspire for a higher diviner life.

Be afraid of nothing, neither failure nor success receiving both as Her gifts. Offer all things, money, recognition and all else at Her Feet turning all life into a worship of the Divine Mother.

Affectionately,

Alok Da.

Sir, Book 1, Canto 4, “The master of existence lurks in us” – This is my absolute favourite, well, for now. I haven’t read the whole Savitri yet, but till now this is my most lovely Canto. I write the whole passage on paper while reading each word; this I do often. 📖📘✒️😊🌾[…]
