AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

In Gita, Sri Krishna says “What is “Jap Yagya” and how is it performed?

“यज्ञानां जपयज्ञोऽस्मि does it mean?

Yagya is the offering we make to the Divine. There are three things here, the state of consciousness in which something is being offered, the fruit for which it is being offered and, the actual offering itself. If the Japa (the offering itself) is done in a glad state full of devotion and surrender, and with the desire for no other fruit except the nearness or closeness with the Divine or the Deity for whom the Japa is being done then the Japa becomes a yagya. Then the Japa becomes an instrument or a means for pouring the heart and mind and will to the Divine thereby intensifying the inner flame of aspiration. Otherwise it is merely a mechanical repetition like the pouring of water into the fire that only dulls it.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Is drinking small quantities of alcohol really that bad? Most people I know consume alcohol in some measure. I noticed that the ones who quit it completely face backlash from Society. For example, I heard business people say that you can’t trust a person who doesn’t drink. 🥂💬🍸🎶[…]

It is not a question of good or bad from a moral point of view. But drinking alcohol is certainly harmful for the physical, as well as psychological and I would even say spiritual health. The list of physical problems is too long and generally too well known to elucidate. …

Yesterday suddenly realised during my prayer with my mother that the seat of the Psychic Being is Highar Vital, in the Hridaya Chakra. Initially, I feel Peace, Bliss and Delight up to the Vishudhi Centre. Suddenly realised that my heart has received The Mother’s Peace and is spreading to all the centre of my all the inner parts and similar to the mother light also. Suddenly feel that the heart centre is doing everything. Alok da, is our Sadhana going in the right direction? Please guide me. 🪷✨💖🕯️

Yes absolutely, the psychic being is behind the heart centre and when open and in the front then all becomes easy and natural.
Your prayer is a beautiful psychic prayer and the yoga going in the right direction.
