After arrival of a deathless luminous supramental body, the life on earth in a way will have no purpose as such but a constant unfolding of the manifold delight of the Divine within, a progressive manifestation of the Infinite Truth with full consciousness of the unfolding.
A painter or a writer has no purpose save to express the delight stirring within his inner being, yet he would want his creations to be flawless and perfect, the flow of expression to be faultless and pure, the work and forces flowing through him smooth and flawless. This indeed is the original intent anyways, to turn creation into a manifold delight of the One Infinite.
A resistance from the creation, which makes this process long and painful, serves a purpose itself, helping the mind stay focused and work in the needed direction, preparing our nature and its instruments for the perfect manifestation of the Truth that is one with Harmony and Delight.
That fulfilled there will be a ceaseless expression of the delight without hindrance and resistance as waves after waves harmoniously play upon the vast limitless sea. Putting this in a more poetic vein,
The purpose for which man descended here
In dubious hours and stars of fate
That for which he wrestles and struggles
Forever within his breast
It is that he can fulfil when he grows divine
The secret aim now lost
To make this earth a Home for the Wonderful
And his mind a shining host
Heaven’s rays now far away he shall reclaim
For earth. Reclaim the glory
For which he is made,
Manifest the Truth that hides
Within his covered heart
The darkness of the ages he shall shake
And grow even as the gods
And turn this marvellous piece of clay
Our earth into a heavenly home…
