Swabhava and swadharma is the expression of the individual soul, the true self through nature, temperament, way of life and being. Similarly there is a national soul that expresses itself through the national temperament and culture.
Realising the truth of the Jivatman is not the same as realising the Divine. The Jivatman puts us in contact with the immanent Divine who dwells within every creature. But the Divine also manifests as the Universal Self, the One Reality behind everything, the One Reality by whom and for whom not only the individual but the universes, indeed Time and Space and all creation exists. And beyond these two statuses, immanent and universal, of the One Divine, there is the third supreme status of the One Reality, the Transcendent Divine. There is ofcourse a fourth status of the Absolute or Parabrahman of whom nothing can be said or spoke
In that context what is the difference between the Jivatma & Paramatama. I can understand that there is no essential difference, that means qualitatively there may be no difference, but quantitatively there may be difference, not sure.
The Jivatman is like the wave arising in the Paramatama which is the ocean.
Can we say that Paramatma is superior to Jivatma, if yes then why and how? The Mother also says there is One Soul in entire existence.
It is not a question of superiority or inferiority. It is a question of potentiality and actuality. The Jivatman is the seed whereas the Paramatama is the tree. The Jivatman can grow and unite with the Paramatama and thereby realise its full potential. But ordinarily it is identified with the ignorance of earth nature and feels itself bound and limited.
