Falsehood is all that creates division in our consciousness, and the last of these divisions is the division between God and the World.
The practical way to come out of falsehood, to go deeper into our soul and come closer to the Lord is first to regard ourselves and the world as belonging to the Divine. The next logical step is to discover the Divine Truth in everything, behind everything by an aspiration for the Divine Truth and Light and Peace and Love and Harmony and Joy. It also means to do our work as worship and service of the Divine.
As to the choice of action, in a general way we can say that all that leads to or creates doubts, division, confusion, disharmony, restlessness, agitation comes from falsehood whereas all that leads to and builds faith, hope, harmony, peace, unity comes from Truth.
