AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Alok da, I’ve noticed lately that people around me are so focused on themselves—constantly talking about what they like, how good or sensible they are, and endlessly bragging about themselves. They don’t even bother to ask about your life, and if they do, it’s only for a moment before they steer the conversation back to themselves. They seem to care about no one but themselves. Well much of humanity has always been like this, self-centered around their little self and its meaningless achievements. It is best not to bother about them but be an example oneself of what a nobler, higher and if possible, a diviner humanity should be.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
