AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

I have observed more and more children in USA and other countries are Autism and have Down syndrome, in fact a friend told me one in every 40 child in USA is autistic, why is this happening? Is it the pressure of the consciousness? Is it Divine way of balancing the universe as Autistic people are simple as they are not cunning or mean or ambitious like they don’t have the mental traits like a mental human have, please shares your view on this🫤.

It is difficult to say with certainty but a number of factors could be operating.

Vaccination drives since few decades could be responsible for the resurgence of new diseases. Genetic modification of diet and an unprecedented exposure to chemicals of various kinds is another possibility.

From the evolutionary point of view, there is no doubt that from the second half of the previous century, man’s spiritual, psychological, social, and even physical evolution has picked up an unprecedented fast pace leading to lot of upsetting of norms and confusion. It is likely that this has led, on the one hand of an evolutionary lag in many who are either falling out, resisting the evolutionary push or else, as you suggest branching out into new modes of living and ways of being with dropping out of certain old faculties and emergence of some new ones. Nature is indeed in an experimental mode as never before so everything is possible in this hour of the unexpected.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I had a question on a particular phrase in Savitri. “The universe is an endless masquerade: For nothing here is utterly what it seems; It is a dream-fact vision of a truth Which but for the dream would not be wholly true, A phenomenon stands out significant Against dim backgrounds of eternity; “What exactly is a “dream-fact vision of a truth”? Either we have dreams, or we have facts, two different order of realities🤔.

To think of the language of Savitri, it feels like Sri Aurobindo has stretched the bounds of the finite to the utmost, by capturing the
