AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

My question is, Gita says: “It is better to do oneโ€™s own dharma, even though imperfectly, than to do anotherโ€™s dharma, even though perfectly.” – How does it apply on a daily basis to us internally and our interactions in life? ๐Ÿ“™๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐ŸŒธ

It means that it is better to live according to your own inmost impulsion of truth, even if it brings outer failure, than to achieve success by following a way of life that is not in tune with your own inmost truth, even if it brings success.

Note that to know your inmost truth, one must quieten the outer noises, especially of desire and ambition.ย

Affectionately,

Alok Da
