In your talk, I am with you, and others, you refer to places like America as being far from the Mother’s presence, as perhaps people here are not as blessed in Her light as those in India. In my limited understanding, I have felt our aim and goal is to “Always behave as if the Mother was looking at you because She is indeed always present”, whether in India or in the USA. Perhaps the comparison may not be necessary. She is indeed here, in my town, in my home and in our hearts.
Thank you for the kind and beautiful words. I fully understand your love for America. It is a good sign, the sign of patriotism, which is itself Sattwic in nature. It is also true that an individual can experience and realise the Divine Presence anywhere and everywhere, in everything.
The statement on America is not at all meant towards Americans, many of whom I know personally to be beautiful people. It is about the soul of America that has, since few decades, and especially more recent times once again slided towards the side of the Adverse forces that are inimical to humanity. In fact, a converted America and a converted Russia coming together, along with India, would be so much helpful for the good of the world, for the Divine Expression and the Manifestation of the Divine Truth in creation. But right now the nation-soul seems to be covered by purely selfish interests, especially money and political power. The stronger we are the greater our responsibility towards making the world a better and safer place. But so far, at least a few decades, the American nation has been largely occupied with furthering its own interests (which is perfectly fine) at the expense of the world by its siding with countries and organisations that create disturbances and indulge in falsehood. Hope this is a passing phase and good sense will prevail over the spirit of America and it will once again stand by the side of the highest of ideals. This is both a hope and a prayer to awaken the soul of America. As to the people, it is a different matter. There are all types everywhere and so too there are beautiful individuals and wonderful human beings all over the world. You are surely one of them.
